In a herdshare a person buys a share in our herd, making them a co-owner of our herd and entitling them to the benefits of owning a dairy goat such as milk, yogurt or kefir.

We use a herdshare agreement. A herdshare agreement is made up of two documents: a bill of sale and an agister agreement.

We deliver weekly April- December. We send the exact beginning and end dates at the beginning of the year.

There are also 2 prescheduled weeks out of the year that we don’t deliver, as well as 2 emergency misses. These are subtracted from our pricing.

We deliver to St George, Washington, Santa Clara, Hurricane, La Verkin, Toquerville, Leeds, New Harmony, Kanarraville, Cedar City and Enoch. If your not listed here and your wondering if we deliver to you call us and we can figure it out!

Our goats live in our pastures. We use rotational and intensive grazing techniques to build soil and promote the health of our goats. Their diet is supplemented, when needed, with locally grown grains (no corn, no soy) and hay (as local and non GMO as we can get it.) Our goats don’t do drugs! On rare occasions when one of the herd gets sick, we use holistic and natural practices to treat them. Additionally the herd is tested annually for brucellosis and tuberculosis.

We milk out in the pasture by hand! Clean stainless steel buckets are used to collect the milk. After milking we strain the milk, bottle it and chill it as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can cancel your membership! There are multiple ways you can do this:

1. Sell your share back to us.
2. Sell your share to someone else.
3. Just plain old cancel, though this doesn’t give you your initial $30 purchase back.
